Hey guys,

We have been overwhelmed with people wanting to come out and experience how we Harvest deer and kangaroo.

We will be taking small groups of people up to 6 people. The weekend involves;
- learning field harvesting operations
- how to properly eviscerate harvested animals
- how to break down and prepare the carcasses down into prime cuts
- learning how to cook game meat over fire
- learn new cooking and spices for deer and kangaroo
- enjoy eating and chilling by a camp fire in the bush while having a few drinks by the camp fire.

All food and beverages are supplied if you have a swag or sleeping bag to sleep under the stars.
If you would like better accommodations there are hotels in town.
Bring your esky or cooler as all the meat that is processed will be bagged and equally shared between the guests.

Hi All,

Been a while since the last write up, and just an update on what’s been happening.

Feral animals are still in huge numbers, it doesn’t matter what restrictions the government lifts the numbers have escalated to almost plague proportions.

It was rare to see deer roaming through paddocks once upon a time and you had to actually hunt and stalk them right! Now they are out in paddocks grazing during the day and in herds just like cattle.

Pigs, goats, rabbits, feral cats and dogs are all increasing in numbers and the pressure on farmers is getting worse as this drought doesn’t look like breaking any time soon.

We at Australian Feral Animal Control and Management Services are helping farmers by controlling these numbers but require funding from the government as farmers do not have the funding for these control methods.

We have gone to state government and approached federal government, but yet there isn’t enough “FUNDING” for feral animal control as they have the LLS.
LLS are restricted with what they can do and have had funding placed for baiting programs but don’t work when the animals are active during the evening.

Amateur shooters and hunters can only help when they have time off and on holidays but it’s not enough.

AFACMS is looking for support from the community to put pressure on all government sectors to get funding for professional companies to assist farmers and the environment to help reduce the numbers of feral animals around the state and the country.

We can send tons of money overseas, pay to maintain boat people on islands and pay refugees to live in our communities, but not look after our own land and people first!

Create Australian jobs for Australian people first, look after our farmers, look after our Native animals and Flora, look after our rural communities and then worry about the rest of the world.

PLEASE share this around and let it be shown to everyone that we are trying to look after the farmers. Because when we get an outbreak of blue tongue, foot and mouth disease, Liptosprosis or any others diseases that effect our livestock industry, it will take a decade to come back from it.
